About the Role

Mploy Team, LLC is seeking a skilled Web Designer for a short-term, work-for-hire project. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing a landing page with a focus on functionality, design precision, and SEO programming to drive organic traffic.

This role requires clear communication with the assigned manager, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a fully functional landing page within 2 business days.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a kickoff meeting with the manager to ask all questions and ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.

• Design and build a landing page with professional layout and user-friendly navigation.

• Ensure all buttons, forms, and links are fully functional and properly programmed.

• Implement and program SEO optimizations to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.

• Scan and edit the webpage for coding or design issues, making necessary fixes.

• Submit completed work for manager review and approval.

• Provide documentation showing where and how SEO was programmed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Web Designer / Front-End Developer.

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (preferred).

• Experience with SEO implementation (meta tags, schema markup, alt text, page speed optimization).

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver a high-quality product in 2 days.

• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness for quick clarifications.

Expectations

• Must attend a mandatory project briefing with manager before starting work.

• Project must be delivered within 2 business days of assignment.

• Final landing page must be fully functional, SEO optimized, and proofed by manager before approval.

• Candidate must show specific SEO programming evidence (screenshot or walkthrough).
